This should be interesting. Having a blog on the web that is. I've already learned what can happen when, to coin a phrase, your words are spread out over the universe (apologies to Dr. Bones McCoy).

A couple of years ago I said something about the Auburn Tigers and some of their alumni didn't like it. Who'da thunk they would be looking at the little 'ole web version of the Tri-City Tribune? Well they were and I was lambasted.

I got a little retribution during the football season, though, when the Hogs whupped 'em.

Anyway, that's in the past so let's go forward with 21st Century technology and my first blog.

For info purposes, I'll be at Cave City (tomorrow Saturday the 3rd) to cover the EPC baseball Warriors as well as Marmaduke and Manila for two of our sister papers. In exchange, those papers are covering Marked Tree boys and girls for me over at Tuckerman.

Check out next week's edition (web and paper) of the Tribune for coverage of the Tri-Cities teams' march to the state championship. Plus check in with the web version for some late updates on the games prior to Wednesday as I get them written.

See ya

Dan
