Gerald Landis York, 64, Clarksville, Tenn., died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. The funeral was held at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Brother Steve Kirby officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home. He was born October 20, 1943 in Lepanto, the son of the late James Franklin York and Trudy Brown York. He was retired from the American Greeting Card Company and attended Hilldale Church of Christ. He is survived by two sons, Scott York , Lexington, Tenn.; and Erick York, Killeen Tex., four brothers, Perry York, Michael York, Barry York, all of Clarksville, Tenn., and Jimmy York, Monette; one sister Gayla York, Nashville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and companion, Jerri Halliday.
