He was a retired civil engineer, an Army World War II veteran and a member of Brinkley Chapel Baptist Church.
Willbanks was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Willbanks and Nancy Belt, five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Willbanks; one daughter, Linda Beason of Frost, Texas; two sons, Charles W. Willbanks of Tulsa, Okla and Roger Dale Willbanks of Keiser; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. William Piercy officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery.
